Kendra & Andrew’s wedding was one of those November days that completely embodied the magic & romance that goes hand in hand with a late season wedding. When most people think about fall & winter, they think about the chilly and snowy weather, but it is so much more! It’s about colourful backdrops & sparkling details, intimate atmospheres, and of course warmth & love; and Kendra & Andrew’s wedding was no exception for all of those wonderful features. Take a peak at their special day captured by Morgan Falk Photography, I just love her ability to capture the soft & romantic details of each wedding (she is absolutely terrific to work with & her photographs are so inspiring!).
Kendra & Andrew really wanted to embrace the romance & elegance of vintage inspired florals, their colour choices focused on rich purples, whites and charcoal gray accents. To tie their ceremony flowers into their vintage inspired theme, we choose classic blooms like pure white & soft purple roses, light purple freesia, deep purple lisianthus & seeded eucalyptus, paired with trailing ribbons for the bride’s & bridesmaid’s bouquets. Kendra & Andrew’s reception at Legends on the Niagara, incorporated the same vintage inspired blooms in assortments of purples & whites arranged in glistening mercury & milk glass vases. The couples “sweet heart” head table was beautifully flanked with tall mercury glass arrangements resting on pedestals, while small table top vases filled with matching blooms were placed across the front of the table making such a wonderfully romantic & dramatic atmosphere as the surrounding candle light flickered and sparkled in the reflection of the mercury glass. It was so wonderful to work with Kendra & Andrew and everyone at Fleurish Design Studio sends all their best wishes as you begin your next chapter together!
