Heidi & Matt:: {Caught up in Country Charm}

Happy New Year to all of you! Here at Fleurish we have many exciting plans for the coming year…with so many unique & interesting wedding couples in our line up for 2013 , it only seems fitting to give you plenty of inspirations from what we’ve created over the past year. In the wedding business you come across many different types of brides, many have been pinning away for weeks, others give you carte blanche and in many cases they are brides who have pictured their wedding and all of its details the minute they said, “Yes!” And Heidi was definitely one of those excited and imaginative brides who had a particular vision when it came to her, and husband Matt’s, big day. So, for me, it was a cinch to design floral accents to complement the country vintage style of Heidi and Matt’s wedding day.

Heidi and Matt’s ceremony combined the rustic nature of the great outdoors with the delicate touches of soft peach, taupe and mocha found throughout their attire and décor. The bride and her bridesmaids carried elegant bouquets down the grassy aisle. We really wanted to create a charming countryside feel with the floral arrangements, so we blended spray and imported roses, baby’s breath, dahlias, pee gee hydrangeas and blushing bride (Yes! That is the name of the flower), with rustic accents of dusty miller, lavender and wheat. The men’s boutonnieres complemented the bouquets and included burlap and twine touches.

The back yard reception didn’t lack any charming details either! Carolyn Bentum Photography captured the couple’s vintage country theme beautifully, throughout the day and at their reception, where tables were draped with burlap and decorated with mason jar centrepieces. What a beautiful day full of unique country charm for such a wonderful couple.
