{Classic & Contemporary with a touch of Coral} :: Vintage Hotels Wedding Show 2013

Last weekend was such an exciting day for Fleurish Design Studio for two reasons; one, we had the privilege of participating in the always fantastic Vintage Hotels Wedding Show, and two, we unveiled Fleurish Design Studio’s gorgeous, brand new logo!

Planning every detail for your big day, whether your wedding is small and intimate or wonderfully elaborate, can be overwhelming to say the least (Trust me, I know exactly how you’re feeling!). That’s why I love being a part of events like the Vintage Hotels Wedding Show, its great being able to inspire soon-to-be-brides by showing them unique and exciting floral and décor combinations that really get those creative wheels turning. Including fresh floral touches in your wedding is a great way to instantly create that special ambiance that you want your guests to enjoy.

I might be a little obsessed with this year’s booth colour, coral…but, this colour continues to be a popular choice for wedding flowers and décor. Coral is great to pair with so many different colours; navy, shades of gray, and black among others! (Honestly, the list can go on and on). And it is a great way to add that punch of colour needed to brighten up your wedding décor. This year I really wanted my booth to offer a visually unique & interesting combination of flowers, colours, and décor that really illustrate the endless floral options.

The romantic hues of white, soft pinks and touches of coral add a simple touch of classic elegance to the table, while the more contemporary additions of bold black & white stripes and the increasingly popular mercury glass & mixed metal containers add a modern flair to the entire look. Isn’t it great how this classic meets contemporary design looks so seamless? Don’t be afraid to mix bold statement pieces with classic elements, it’s a great way to really add your personality into your wedding.

A huge thank you to the newly engaged couples who came to this event & visited the Fleurish booth!
